What do I do now?

If you wish to remain an at-will employee, and believe management should call all the shots unilaterally (without any meaningful input from its employees), no further action is needed.

However, if:

  • You feel that employees should have some meaningful input into their terms and conditions of employment and their future with Tolt Solutions.

    and

  • You recognize that forming a union and having that union certified by the National Labor Relations Board is the only means workers have to accomplish this.

There are several things you can and should do.

  1. To learn more about how you can participate in and support this organizing campaign, or to gain more information and have your questions answered, contact the following IBEW representatives:
  2. Sign an Authorization Card and mail it to IBEW Local 98 at:
    • IBEW Local 98
      1701 Spring Garden St.
      Philadelphia, PA 19130

These cards are kept confidential by the union and will never be shown to Tolt Management. If enough cards are signed, they are turned over to the NLRB as proof that there is a sufficient showing of interest from Tolt employees to have an election. The NLRB will not show the cards to Tolt management, nor will they tell them how many signed cards.
